Oakton’s Manufacturing Expo

Ex-Cell Kaiser was pleased to host Oakton’s Manufacturing Expo on April 14th, 2015 at our facility this week! We spent the afternoon with students from local high schools who participate in Oakton’s Manufacturing Expo. This program allows students to visit manufacturers to explore the role science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) plays in new innovative manufacturing and learn how coursework in STEM can lead to excellent career opportunities.

Top executives at Ex-Cell Kaiser shared company history followed by brief presentations from various departments including Operations, Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing. A tour of our plant showcased Ex-Cell's manufacturing capabilities and extensive product line of recycling, hospitality and facility management. The day ended with an interactive panel discussion so that students could learn more about the business and industry.

We hope that the event provided a better understanding and piqued their interest in manufacturing careers. A special thanks to everyone who helped make this day a huge success!
